Eos Lightmedia installs complex lighting and audio visual systems in Museum, Science Centres, Attractions and Architectural environments. We have a wide range of services we provide including:
- Lighting design, supply and installation
- AV design, supply and installation
- Software development and deployment
- Lighting and audio visual system programming.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a integration specialist to join our team working from the Vancouver office or remotely. In this role you will be responsible for the analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining of solutions for integration projects that involve multiple systems in our projects. This role reports to the Director of Integration
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Review and refine custom technical designs by to ensure component compatibility and reliable system design
- Ensure accuracy of all part numbers to be ordered by procurement team
- Be responsible for redlining project designs for scope gaps or incompatibility and bring forth solutions for select Eos projects
- Support the Project Manager with technical specifications throughout the project
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to execute any design deliverables on selected projects and/or project components
- Review and specify technical and product details for client/ Lighting Designers/ Exhibit Designers as well as for Procurement team
- Review & sign off on order confirmations and manufacturer’s shop drawings as necessary
- Consult with Electrical Systems Designers to ensure functionality of technical systems
- Communicate with Technical Directors, Creatives internally and externally with high level coordination communications
- Audit Eos design packages before submittal. Process & timeline to be coordinated by Director of Design
- Assist Project Manager with communicating SME’s content to the stakeholders

Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
A portfolio that includes some or all of these unique skillsets:
- Experience with lighting control zones and circuiting requirements
- Familiarity with line voltage and extra low voltage wiring systems in commercial buildings
- Experience implementing theatrical lighting systems control protocols for LED and traditional lighting systems including: DMX, sACN, UDP, ArtNET, KiNet, RDM, 0-10V, SCR dimming, SMPTE, SPI, MIDI, and ETCNet
- Experience programming software and console based control systems for LED and traditional lighting systems and manufacturers: Lutron, Leviton, Crestron, Pathway, ETC, Pharos, CueServer, GrandMa
- Exhibit lighting focus and aiming
- Experience with low-voltage wiring, terminations, and cable management
- Experience designing and commissioning ethernet based networks
- Familiarity with basic coding - node red, javascript, python or similar
- Familiarity with AV over IP systems
- Experience with projections including mapping, blending and multi-projector setups
- Qsys training Level 1 or higher
- AVIXA CTS certification
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), ComptTIA A+/N+, VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA-NV), and/or Google IT Support
As well as:
- Minimum 5 years experience in exhibits, themed attractions, live events, architectural lighting or other related field
- Excellent vendor communication skills, strong time management skills and a commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Organized work methods with good time & project management skills
- Excellent command of English language, verbal and written
- Interest in working in a teaching and learning environment.
- Comfortable with Apple/Mac platform is an asset not essential.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required from time to time
